Who doesn’t love a good old drink of Cider? But that’s not what Cider Casino is about, no! This sweepstakes casino is sweet as apples when it comes to its games, mobile usability, and its virtual currency setup.
But, is there a Cider Casino promo code? And does this operator dish out the Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins like they are going out of fashion? This is what the below guide discusses. It first dives into the virtual currencies, but then ramps up the heat and explores promotions like the welcome bonus and daily login bonus.
Like every good UU sweepstakes casino, Cider Casino’s foundations are built on its virtual currencies. Indeed, it’s gone with the tried and tested Gold Coin (GC) and Sweeps Coin (SC) setup, with the following rules and caveats:
GC and SC are the only two things players will potentially get from the Cider Casino promotions. In terms of SC cash prize redemptions, Online Banking and PayPal are the main methods available, but processing times are pretty damn slow - taking anywhere from 3-8 business days, which is sadly on par with the benchmark for most social casinos.
One of the best sweepstakes casinos US promos is the welcome bonus. Historically, this includes a no purchase bonus where the site plies customers with a chunk of virtual currencies. PLUS an optional discounted GC package that players can purchase. Cider Casino offers both of these things, BUT, it’s got room for improvement and might leave some customers wanting more.
For context, with years of testing and experience from hundreds of sweepstakes casinos, the MINIMUM expected benchmark for the no purchase bonus is 7,500 Gold Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins. So, when it’s apparent that Cider Casino gives 20,000 GC and 0.30 SC, it’s easy to see why some players might feel a little bummed.
20,000 GC is MORE than enough to play with, and it will indeed allow customers to explore the awesome slots and fishing arcade games that Cider Casino offers. That’s not the issue. The issue is the 0.30 SC - it’s just a little bit underwhelming really, and there’s honestly no reason why Cider can’t just up this to even 1 SC - the difference in potential gameplay would be minimal.
For additional context as to why this is a sore point - 0.30 SC is basically enough to play 3 spins on a slot game at 0.10 SC each, and it’s typically not even enough to play one single table game hand, as they are usually 1 SC minimum. So, the customer might as well have 0 SC instead of 0.30 SC - 1 SC just feels better, and like the gamer is getting better value.
Don’t worry though - there’s a second optional part to the Cider Casino welcome offers in the form of an optional GC package which gives a pretty chunky bonus:
This is OPTIONAL - no purchase is necessary to play here, BUT, it’s also amazing value, and one of the better discounted GC packages available. It’s great that Cider Casino has opted to give a low-cost boosted GC package at $2.99 - this might appeal to both casual and veteran gamers, whereas most other social casinos usually have the discounted GC package at $9.99 or $19.99, which not everyone wants to go for.
In addition to this first purchase bonus, Cider Casino has other GC packages, which from experience, are all better value than most of their counterparts at other sites - especially for the GC amount received, some examples include:
The Cider Casino bonus for new US players is ONLY available to customers who have never registered an account with the site before. Don’t think about trying to game the system either - the operator uses geoblocking to prevent unauthorized access, and there’s also ID verification requirements preventing people from trying to multiaccount. If anyone wants to give the site a try, the following registration process must be completed:
Click the Cider Casino banners on this page.
Click the register button.
Choose the registration method (email, Google, Facebook, guest).
Enter the relevant details.
Complete the initial verification.
Log in using the new account details.
Verification can include email and SMS depending on the player’s location, and at some point a full ID check is required if the customer wants to use their Sweeps Coins and make SC cash prize redemptions. There’s more detail about the site, how it works, and its security features in the separate Cider Casino review.
After the Cider Casino bonus for new gamers, there’s more to get stuck into. Like the welcome bonus though, there’s a few features missing - there doesn’t look to be a VIP program, for example, and there’s definitely room for growth concerning the existing player promos. Still, customers can get their grubby little mittens on a cracking welcome bonus, plus get their friends involved for a massive potential referral bonus.
One of the best Cider Casino promotions is easily the daily login bonus, and this somewhat makes up for the average welcome bonus. It’s a fancy progressive bonus, which means that the prize increases depending on how many days a customer has logged in a row, with the maximum streak being 7 days. The daily breakdown is as follows:
So, after day 7, the streak will reset, and go back to day 1 - easy! In total for those who can’t do maths, that’s potentially 315,000 GC and 1.95 SC PER WEEK! This is fantastic, and for context, it’s expected that a social casino gives around 1,500 GC and 0.20 SC for the daily bonus. Cider Casino smashes this, and the GC amount each day is particularly impressive and on some days, customers are getting more than the welcome bonus!
Logging in takes maybe a minute max, so don’t miss out on this chance. It’s not like the virtual currencies have to be used immediately either - someone could literally collect their daily bonus all 7 days, and then play with the GC and SC at the end of the week when they have amassed a pretty good amount.
There’s nothing better than a good old gamification feature that lets customers potentially get virtual currencies naturally via their gaming, and Cider Casino does that with its daily missions. These are pretty simple - gamers have to do specific tasks such as playing certain games, using their virtual currencies, or even making GC purchases, and this unlocks a series of daily mission prizes. It’s a fun way to stay engaged with the site, and to add an additional layer of strategy and intrigue to gaming sessions.
If anyone has like-minded gamers who are looking for a new sweepstakes casino to try, they could utilize the Cider Casino referral bonus. When someone registers an account with this social casino, they get a unique referral code and/or link. This is tied to their account, and when given out to other people, it can potentially trigger a referral bonus.
There’s actually two stages to the referral bonus. Firstly, if the referee completes the full account verification process, the first bonus is given. After that, there is a minimum GC purchase requirement to unlock the full bonus. In total, each referral can potentially give a 200,000 Gold Coins and 60 Sweeps Coins bonus - this stands out as one of the top referral programs, and from testing, there doesn’t seem to be any limit on the number of referees a person can have.
Let’s not forget about the often overlooked Alternative Method Of Entry bonus or mail-in bonus. This is a recurring bonus that 99.99% of sweepstakes casinos offer, and it’s surprising how few people actually use it, considering the potential steady stream of SC it can unlock.
All it takes is to read the rules on the sweeps rules page, handwrite the postcard, and use the “Request Postal Code” link to generate a unique mail-in code, and customers can potentially get 2 SC for each successful request. It’s important to note that the instructions MUST be followed perfectly, including making the handwriting legible, and making sure there’s only one postcard per envelope.
That’s pretty much it for the Cider Casino promotions, but there’s still some additional information that could prove useful for those who want to jump in and start exploring the site.
Sadly, Cider Casino is not available nationwide and there are restrictions. Firstly, it’s only available to people over 21 who live in the US. On top of that, there are prohibited states which include - California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Kentucky, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, and Washington. Compared to other operators, this is actually a pretty small restricted list, and Cider Casino is one of the better options in terms of accessibility.
While there is a desktop version of the website, hardcode smartphone users can also download one of the two mobile apps - one from the App Store for iOS devices, and one from the Play Store for Android phones. Both work really well and give a satisfying and straightforward mobile gaming experience. There should also be absolutely no difference in terms of the available promotions - everything available on the desktop website should also be available on the apps.
One of the areas for improvement with Cider Casino is the lack of a VIP program. When this Cider Casino promo code guide was written, it didn’t have one, or anything like a VIP program. It would be nice for something like this to be added, to show appreciation to repeat customers and those who are sticking with the brand.
Optional Gold Coin purchases were mentioned earlier, and there’s a load of different packages available starting from $2.00 (don’t bother with the $2.00 GC package though as customers DON’T get any bonus SC after the GC purchase!). Depending on the player’s location, available GC purchase methods should include debit and credit cards, online banking, and PayPal. These should also be available for SC cash prize redemptions.
Compared to other social casinos with free Sweeps Cash promos, Cider Casino is in the middle of the pack. It’s NEARLY there and SO close to being a top contender, BUT, it just needs to open its purse strings a little and dish out a few more promotions. The 20,000 GC and 0.30 SC welcome bonus is FINE, but they could up the SC amount to at least 1-2 and it would be perfect.
Similarly, while the daily login bonus, mail-in bonus, referral scheme, and missions all rock, it could add more features like a VIP program, random bonus drops, and more recurring promos for existing customers. Still right now, customers will certainly still be able to have loads of fun, and the most important point is that the promos are enough to give consistent gameplay and entertainment, and that’s what it’s all about! To give it a try, there’s banners on this page - simply click them and then go through the registration process described earlier.
Not yet. None of the promotions or features here seem to use a Cider Casino promo code, EXCEPT the referral bonus. Customers can get a unique referral link or code when signing up. They can then give this to their friends and potentially get a 200,000 GC and 60 SC referral bonus for each successful referee.
There ain’t one! This is a sweepstakes casino, which means that USD deposits will NEVER be available. Instead, there is a no purchase bonus that new customers can get, plus a variety of other features such as the daily login bonus, mail-in bonus, referral scheme, and the cool daily missions.
Nope. Well, not technically. It’s a case of wording and semantics, BUT, because real money deposits can’t be made here, it’s called a NO PURCHASE bonus instead. This is essentially the signup bonus that customers can get when registering a new account - the 20,000 GC and 0.30 SC lump sum of virtual currencies.
On the Cider Casino website and apps of course! Ha! But seriously - anyone from the US who is over 21 can sign up at this sweepstakes casino and unlock the promotions. BUT, it is NOT available in these states - California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Kentucky, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, and Washington.
Oh yes! Without a shadow of a doubt. The Cider Casino promotions have all been tested and they are exactly as described. The simplest thing anyone can do when interacting with these bonuses is to take their time, read the terms and conditions FULLY, and think about what they want to do with the bonus, and what they want to get out of it.
