CrownCoins Casino is an incredibly popular sweepstakes casino where casino-style games are played for free using virtual currencies, as is the norm. As such, the brand has a series of bonuses to claim, with no CrownCoins Casino promo code needed.
There’s a decent welcome bonus for new players that includes 100,000 Crown Coins, and 2 Sweeps Coins with a straightforward signing up process. What’s even better is that there are 500+ casino-style games to play. In this CrownCoins casino review, there’s plenty to look forward to such as the daily log in bonus, which goes above and beyond.
Thankfully, it’s not too challenging to pick up the welcome bonus and no sweepstakes casinos promo codes are needed, but using this site comes with a few caveats.
There’s a minimum age requirement of 18 years for all players, and CrownCoins Casino is available in 41 states. Anyone from California, Connecticut, Indiana, Maine, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, or Tennessee will need to scroll on by.
Don’t think for a minute that it’s possible to bypass those state restrictions, CrownCoins Casino uses military-level geolocation software to keep track of that, and the brand positively loathes VPNs. Get caught using one and its game over…may seem harsh, but it’s all to promote the cause of providing a safe environment.
Now everything is clear on that front, here’s how the registration process pans out:
Hit the link on the page banners to go to the official CrownCoins Casino site
Click the green “Sign up” button found at the top of the page
Accept the T&Cs
Further choices await. Those with a Google or Facebook account can use their existing credentials. Otherwise, go with the standard email address and password route. CrownCoins Casino will ask for confirmation via email, and that should be that. However, according to some CrownCoins Casino reviews, it’s not unknown for players to get to that stage. Either that, or CrownCoins Casino will insist on further verification.
It’s a fact that additional and necessary checks will be made. Technically, KYC is only needed ahead of redeeming eligible Sweeps Coins, but according to the brand’s T&Cs CrownCoins Casino “reserves the right” to ask for further information at any time. The process involves uploading the following:
This might feel like an inconvenience, but feelings aside, CrownCoins Casino is legally obliged to check out its players, so it is what it is.
At this point 100,000 Crown Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins will be locked and loaded. Incidentally, “Crown Coins” is the fancy pants name for what’s usually called Gold Coins. Both virtual currencies can be used to play any casino-style game on the CrownCoins Casino site.
Just to underline, in case anyone out there is a sweepstakes casino virgin, Crown Coins are strictly for fun and entertainment only. No value. No exchanges. No redemptions.
Sweeps Coins are the CrownCoins Casino promotional currency, which is also used to have fun, but with a twist. Sweeps Coins won through gameplay go through a magical transformation where they become eligible for redemption.
In short, the free Sweeps Coins collected through bonuses can be redeemed for a cash prize by using them to play games at least once. Redemption requests can be made with 50 eligible SC. Skrill and bank transfer are the only option, and SC redemptions take up to 72 hours, subject to delays caused by verification. Overall, a pretty good deal.

One thing to know about Crown Coins, is that they’re available to purchase in various packages. Crown Coin purchases are 100% optional, as no purchase is ever necessary to play at CrownCoins Casino. Purchases can be completed using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or Skrill, which is more options than most sweepstakes casinos offer, below are the Crown Coin packages currently available:
CrownCoins Casino doesn’t exactly have the biggest games library for a sweepstakes casino, which could be considered limiting by some, but not an issue in the grand scheme of things. Also, the quality is indisputable. Most games come from renowned developers like Booming Games, Evolution and NetEnt, but there’s also a handful of Crown Exclusives, which include:
The casino-games here largely fall into three categories: Slots, Jackpots, and Game Shows, which is kinda weird compared to how things break down on most other sites, but by no means a deal-breaker either.
Slots naturally make up the bulk of the casino-style games, which isn’t unusual. There’s a decent array of themes and mechanics ranging from 3x5 retro fruit machines, up to some crazily complex video titles that need a degree to understand them. But joking aside, there’s something to suit most players.
The “Jackpots” category feels a bit odd here, especially since not every game in it is actually a jackpot game. As for “Features,” think of it as a collection of slot mechanics and special extras. This includes things like Megaways, cascading reels, bonus rounds, mini-games, Hold & Win features, and other built-in gameplay elements that make slots a little more interesting.
This category is exactly what it says on the tin: live game shows and nothing else. To be fair, they're good ones, with games supplied by Evolution. The real head-scratcher is the complete lack of traditional live dealer tables. No live blackjack, no roulette, no baccarat—nothing. That's a pretty big miss. Then again, that could be the very reason Crown Coins Casino is available in so many places compared to other sweepstakes casino brands.
CrownCoins Casino catches more attention with a fairly lengthy list of ongoing opportunities for players to pick up more virtual currencies. However, while most of the promos are pretty darn cool, others are perhaps not quite as good as they appear when it comes down to the nitty-gritty.
This is arguably the most impressive promotion CrownCoins Casino offers. The rewards for the daily login bonus are part of a seven-day progressive streak craftily designed to keep players coming back.
Logging in daily for seven consecutive days lands an impressive haul of 155,000 Crown Coins and 2.8 Sweeps Coins. But there’s actually more to come. Enter “Milestones” which take daily rewards up to a whole new 30-day level. These are the weekly milestones and the rewards for each:
Next up is the CrownCoins Casino referral bonus, and this is another cracker. Every successful referral nets a huge bonus of 400,000 Crown Coins and 20 Sweeps Coins. So what’s the catch? The only potential pitfall is that the person invited must be willing to make optional Crown Coin purchases to the value of $14.90. Pick the right peeps to invite to CrownCoins Casino, and it's doable.
An option for anyone who’s into this kind of thing: CrownCoins Casino doesn’t go into a ton of detail, but the idea is simple: Players are given a set of optional daily tasks to complete. These usually involve things like playing a specific game or hitting a set number of Sweep Coin spins.
Each task has its own virtual currency reward assigned, and there’s also a further (undisclosed) bonus for completing all of the tasks. In addition, completing these tasks unlocks a series of mini games, which can’t be accessed any other way.
Eligible CrownCoins Casino players receive a weekly bonus through the Coinback Program. It’s calculated as a percentage of all site activity over the previous seven days i.e. total Crown Coins and Sweeps Coins played. Percentages range from 2% up to 6% and are based on Crown VIP Club rankings, which is up for discussion next.
All new CrownCoins Casino members get added to the “Entry” level of the Crown VIP Club. Above Entry, there are five more tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Emerald. In the usual way, playing games means collecting points.Sounds good so far, right?
First problem. A colossal 100,000 Crown Coins need to be played to get 1 point. Ouch. It’s not so bad for Sweeps Coins, as it’s 1 point for 1 Sweeps Coin played.
Second problem. The number of points required to level up.
No math degree needed to work out that players who favor Crown Coins are pretty much out of the game. For anyone who does make it up the chain, rewards vary slightly by tier, but consist of a level up reward, an enhanced daily bonus, coinback privileges, and a monthly bonus. Regrettably CrownCoins Casino has chosen to play its cards close to its chest, and fails to provide any further information.
The CrownCoins Casino ‘Alternative Method of Entry’ (AMoE) is the equivalent of a strict school test. But aren’t they always? In the usual way players need to generate a unique code for each mail in request.
Take heed that it won’t stay visible for very long and it’s only possible to request one every 24 hours. Best to do a quick c&p while getting the other stuff in place, rather than risk having to wait.
Beyond that things follow the typical path of handwriting personal details, a “statement of intent” exactly as found in the Sweeps Rules, and the precious code on a 6”x4” PLAIN postcard, then putting said postcard inside a #10 envelope and sending it via snail mail to the correct CrownCoins Casino address.
A substantial waiting time will follow, during which CrownCoins Casino will evaluate the request and decide if it’s deemed worthy of a reward. Assuming every i has been dotted, every t has been crossed, and the writing passes muster, 1 Sweeps Coin will be dished out.
Seriously? Considering there are plenty of other (much easier) fun ways to collect free SC coins, is it really worth the bother?
Back to a much more entertaining topic, CrownCoins Casino puts on regular leaderboard events. The duration of each will vary, some last just 24 hours, while others continue for a full calendar month.
Similarly, the rules vary, some tournaments are for Crown Coin players only, others are for Sweeps Coins. While most have a pre-ordained prize prize pool the way they are played may mean being given a certain number of spins on a certain game, where the players with the most winnings get on the leaderboard.
The other possibility is a range of different games, played for a specific length of time. Again, points mean getting on the leaderboard. The usual way of doing things is to check the “Rules” for the available tournaments and opting in.
CrownCoins Casino is also pretty active on all three of its social media channels, which are Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram. It’s worth following the brand on all three, but in fairness, Instagram posts seem more frequent than on the other two channels.
There’s no telling what’ll pop up on any given day, it might be a heads up for an upcoming promo on the CrownCoins Casino site, a mini social-only contest, or a reward for liking and/or commenting. For anyone fixated with their socials, why not?
With everything now out on display, it’s time to start wrapping up. Certainly the AMoE, and the Crown VIP Club, fall into a “could be better” category, but neither is overall bad. In other places there’s a frustrating lack of transparency where CrownCoins Casino also falters.
On the other side of the coin, there are some praiseworthy promos, with the highlights being the brand’s welcome bonus, its referral program, and the exceptional daily login bonus, the latter being more than just a daily reward, it’s a month-long rewardfest. Absolutely no denying there are more positives than negatives, so on balance, it's a thumbs up. Anyone who feels the same just needs to head to the banners and start collecting rewards.
Nope. It’s all fine and dandy in that respect, CrownCoins Casino doesn’t mess around with stuff like that. The main thing to worry about is whether the brand is available in your state, cos if not, you ain’t getting in.
To be fair to CrownCoins Casino the 100,000 Crown Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins the brand hands out to new players isn’t half bad, and there are at least 500 top-quality casino-style games to enjoy on the site,
The CrownCoins Casino daily login bonus is one of the finest promotions on the site, and far exceeds what’s on offer at other sweepstakes casinos too. There are two parts, the first is a progressive seven-day streak that nets up to 155,000 Crown Coins and 2.8 Sweeps Coins every week. The second are three weekly ‘milestones’ with huge virtual currency rewards, and turn it into a really big deal.
There’s about 500 games altogether, mostly slots, which come from a bunch of top developers like NetEnt, Playson, and Evolution, with a handful of Crown Exclusives titles created in-house. Jackpots and feature slots have their own category, plus there’s the chance to play some of Evolution’s finest live game shows.
