If there’s one sweepstakes casino that everyone should try, it HAS to be Stake.us. There’s no exaggeration here - it’s just that damn good, and this Stake.us review shows exactly why.
Maybe it's the ridiculous 25,000 Gold Coin (GC) and 25 Stake Cash (SC) welcome bonus? Or perhaps it’s the 1,800+ casino-style games on offer, including their legendary Stake Originals arcade titles. Or it could even just be the fantastic usability of the site, its security measures, and virtual currency system. Read on to find out!
Before getting into the epic game library, we’ve got to go through the legitimacy of this US sweepstakes casino. In short, Stake.us does everything as expected - it’s by-the-book, ticks all the boxes, and is basically what people should expect from a sweepstakes casino in terms of standards, security, and transparency.
There’s no shady business going on here! No - Stake.us fully complies with US sweepstakes regulations. It does this by not allowing real money or crypto deposits and gameplay. Also, it’s only ever possible to play the casino-style games here using the virtual currencies. On top of that, it complies with the no purchase necessary requirement by giving customers a mental amount of virtual currency bonuses. For transparency, Stake.us is operated by Sweepsteaks Limited, which is a company registered in Cyprus.
Need help? There’s a handy live chat available. The message tab of the live chat feature is where people can speak to the support reps, and there’s usually only a 5 minute max waiting time. While waiting, customers can also browse the help center which is especially detailed and has loads of info relating to things like virtual currencies, games, promotions, and accessibility.
Although no one really cares about this stuff, Stake.us DOES have SSL encryption and HTTPS connectivity. This basically means that hackers can’t do anything if they manage to intercept data. There’s also an incredible range of documentation relating to how the site works, this includes a privacy policy, terms of service, how-to guides, and company information.
Gold Coins and Stake Cash are the two virtual currencies customers will play with here. Gold Coins are basically the demo virtual currency - these are just used for fun and customers have the chance of getting GC prizes back from their gameplay. They can’t be redeemed, but there are optional GC purchases which are available via both crypto and fiat payment methods.
Stake Cash is basically the same as Sweeps Coins at other sites. This virtual currency can be redeemed for cash prizes. Customers must have 45 SC minimum, to have played with any bonus SC 2x (this sucks as most sites only have a 1x requirement), and to have fully verified their ID via the KYC process. Compared to other sites, despite the rubbish 2x bonus SC playthrough, Stake.us does offer pretty fast SC redemption process times.
It’s great to see that Stake.us also takes responsible social gaming seriously, and it has a dedicated RSG page. This contains information and guides on how to stay safe, but it also explains the different tools the site has. These are play breaks of between 24 hours to 3 months, where customers cannot physically access their account, longer self-exclusion periods of 6 months or more, and permanent account closure. These features actually have built-in safeguards too, which prevent people from activating them and then changing their mind the next day which can be dangerous.
So, Stake.us is legit - that much is clear. But, does it actually offer decent entertainment? OH YES. Things just keep getting better when it comes to gaming at this sweepstakes casino, and it arguably has one of the most diverse AND quality libraries available. Whether it’s modern slots, retro fruit machines, live dealer games or instant arcade games, Stake.us delivers, and some.
Stake.us doesn’t mess around with no-name developers for its games - instead, it features titles from all-time great producers including:
Stake Originals, Hacksaw, Nolimit City, Massive Studios, Twist Gaming, Titan Gaming, ICONIC21, Live88, Evolution, Shady Lady, AvatarUX, Backseat Gaming, Penguin King, Slotmill, BGaming, Peter & Sons, Popiplay, Bullshark Games, Playson, Red Tiger, Big Time Gaming, Fantasma Games, G.Games, NetEnt, Hacksaw OpenRGS, Rogue, Just Slots, One Touch, Expanse Studios, Booming Games, Onlyplay, Mancala Gaming, Platipus, Barbara Bang, Gaming Corps, 3 Oaks Gaming.
It’s also worth noting that it has its own in-house development team who are responsible for the Stake Originals arcade games.
The massive range of quality developers this social casino uses means that Stake.us also has some of the best gaming variety customers can find. From experience, out of all the sweepstakes casinos, it has the best coverage in terms of genres, and there is nothing missing from its collection:
Slots account for a huge part of the library, and it offers a mix of retro games from developers like Playson, but also ultra-modern slots. One stand out developer has to be Shady Lady. Now, their slots are definitely NOT for the faint hearted or the easily offended - they are brash, satirical, and sometimes unsettling, BUT, they also provide one of the most unique gaming experiences available, especially with titles like Sew, Sheeple, Office Party, and Mortal Bromance.
Alternatively, customers can dive into the Stake.us world of live dealer games which are provided by Evolution, ICONIC21, and Live88 among other reputable producers. There’s all the blackjack, roulette, and baccarat tables anyone could ever want, but also some classic game shows like Crazy Time, Ice Fishing, Gravity Wheel, Funky Time, and Football Studio.
This sweepstakes casino is perhaps best-known for its Stake Originals games and with a good reason. These arcade games have a unique graphical style, many of them are live, and most of them have an RTP of 97.00% or greater. Combine that with some truly awesome themes and game mechanics, and they are a recipe for success. There’s 20+ Stake Originals games at Stake.us, but from our ratings and reviews, the top picks are easily:
A sweepstakes casino needs to be able to deliver when it comes to usability too - no one wants to feel like they are banging their head against a wall, just to get signed up or play games! Fortunately, yet again, Stake.us knocks it out of the park for usability, and while it doesn’t have an Android app, it DOES have a well-designed desktop website and iOS app.
PC, laptop, or Android gamers can use the Stake.us website, and it’s easily one of the best available. Firstly, it looks the part with the classic Stake.us colors, the simple and unobtrusive graphics, and the logical layout. There’s the game categories and other major links on the left, the game content and main content info in the middle, and then the hilarious live chat on the right.
Side note - if anyone wants a good laugh, check out the live community chat, there’s some real tasty conversations here, and things can get wild. Stake.us have also done a great job with the game filters - people can search by specific provider, use the search bar, and organize games by different filters like most popular or new releases. It’s just a pleasant experience that should never cause any headaches.
For some reason, Stake.us has only decided to launch an iOS app via the App Store - this means that Android users unfortunately get the short end of the stick and have to make do with the mobile-responsive browser version. This does work pretty damn good though, and it’s just as responsive as the iOS app.
The App Store app actually has some awesome ratings - it’s got an average score of 4.7 stars, and that’s from over 16,000 reviews, so it must be doing something right. There’s also some mental reviews though which are best ignored. For example, one person claimed they did 6,000 spins on a slot game and never triggered the bonus feature - this definitively did NOT happen - the negative comments are pretty much idiots who expect to get prizes on every spin or hand they play - that’s just not how it works.
Crazy reviews from lunatics aside, the iOS app works like a charm. It’s smooth, has a simple interface, and has all the same features and functions of the desktop website.
The Stake.us promo code review provides the complete low down about the GC and SC bonuses here, but it would be a shame to not at least go over them in this guide. Simply put, Stake.us sets the standard for sweepstakes casino promos - it’s THAT good, with no exaggeration. Literally every promo it offers such as the signup bonus, daily login bonus, and mail-in bonus is WAY above the expected benchmarks.
First up is the insane Stake.us welcome bonus which new customers can get after creating a Stake.us login. At the moment, this includes the following:
Now, more Gold Coins would be nice, and it’s worth mentioning that some sweepstakes casinos do give as much as 100,000 GC. BUT, 25 Stake Cash? That’s literally unheard of and no other site really comes close to this. Typically new gamers might get 1-3 free SC max from a no purchase bonus, so 25 SC is amazing.
Customers will need to use the FOOTY365 during the registration process to unlock this exclusive Football365 bonus, and it’s also important to remember that Stake.us is prohibited in these states:
Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, Washington, and West Virginia.
In terms of playability, this welcome bonus really does give magnificent potential entertainment value, especially for Stake Cash gameplay.
Things don’t grind to a halt after the welcome bonus… oh no - instead, Stake.us turns up the heat and offers existing players an even larger array of bonuses, promotions, and gamification features to get stuck into, including:
The VIP club is particularly interesting as it actually gives tangible potential benefits as opposed to all those knock-off programs that have a load of vague prizes. Dedicated customers who play here regularly have the chance of unlocking things like weekly and monthly bonuses, rakeback, level-up bonuses, reload bonuses, and bonus growth features.
This Stake.us review might seem a little hyperbolic or exaggerated, BUT, it’s really that good, and customers can see for themselves simply by clicking on the relevant banners and links on this page. It’s essentially become THE benchmark for what new sweepstakes casinos are compared to, and it’s a testament to the brand to see how it keeps improving, and continues to draw in new gamers.
The game selection rocks. It’s got amazing promotions. The site is easy to use. It’s incredibly secure and transparent. What more could anyone want? The ONLY real thing missing is the downloadable Android app, so unfortunately, Stake.us isn’t quite the perfect sweepstakes casino yet. If this guide has intrigued anyone, remember that the FOOTY365 promo code is needed during the Stake.us register process to unlock the 25,000 GC and 25 SC no purchase bonus.
It sure is! This US sweepstakes casino ticks all the boxes when it comes to sweepstakes regulations and transparency. It doesn’t allow real money deposits or gameplay, and people can only ever play games here with their Gold Coins or Stake Cash. On top of that, Stake.us has an immense range of promos, so that it complies with the no purchase requirement caveat.
No! Sweepstakes casinos don’t give direct real money prizes and Stake.us is no different. Customers play games using their GC and SC virtual currencies, and have the chance of getting GC or SC prizes back. It is possible to redeem Stake Cash for cash prizes. Players will need at least 45 SC, to have played with any bonus SC 2x, and to have verified their ID to be able to make an SC redemption request.
Stake.us is only available in the US to residents who are over 21. Also, it is unfortunately prohibited in these states - Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, Washington, West and Virginia.
That’s a tough one! For slot games, it has to be Wanted Dead or a Wild from Hacksaw Gaming - it’s just an awesome, gritty Wild West slot with some epic bonus rounds. For arcade games, nothing beats the intense and immersive live action of Stake Crash - there’s a reason why thousands of people still play it daily.
