Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi has told Enock Mwepu that he’s “ready to help” him after he was forced to retire prematurely with a hereditary heart problem.
Enock Mwepu has been forced to retire following the diagnosis of a hereditary heart condition, Brighton confirmed on Monday.
“He is not quite ready so we need to keep working with him. Disappointing but these things happen sometimes.”
The 23-year-old Zambia international arrives on a four-year deal as Albion’s first new recruit of the summer.
Yves Bissouma is the subject of interest from Arsenal and could be replaced by a Salzburg midfielder at the Amex.
