West Ham manager David Moyes has backed defender Kurt Zouma to lead by example on the pitch as the Premier League team’s new captain.
Zouma has also been banned from keeping cats for five years after kicking and slapping his pet in a disturbing home video.

Zouma will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday alongside his brother Yoan for a first hearing.
Zouma and his brother Yoan are being prosecuted under the Animal Welfare Act.
