Jack Grealish: Man City make decision on Everton termination with situation now ‘a mess’
Man City “don’t want” Jack Grealish back at the club, according to reports, amid claims that Everton could look to terminate his loan move.
Grealish, who is on a season-long loan from Man City, was dropped by Toffees boss David Moyes last week after breaching the club’s disciplinary rules after the winger reportedly skipped training.
The England international hasn’t been on the pitch for Everton since their Premier League clash with Chelsea on October 17, not featuring in their last four matches, including a 3-1 win over Coventry City on Friday night.
Speaking ahead of the win against Coventry, Moyes said of Grealish: “No, Jack is not available.
“I wouldn’t give you the plan but we will be working with Jack again soon.”
Widespread reports have indicated that Grealish has returned to the Everton training ground with Moyes now opening the door for the 31-year-old to get back into his side after the international break.

There have been some rumours that claim Grealish ‘could have his deal terminated’ at Everton but former Manchester City financial adviser Stefan Borson insists that the Citizens wouldn’t have him.
Borson told Football Insider: “Man City don’t want the player back. Speaking from a football perspective, there’s no way City want the player back in the squad.
“He’s just a headache for them. He’s out of contract in the summer. He’s not going to play. I’m sure they just don’t want him around the squad.
“So he’s in a bit of a limbo. I just don’t see it being realistic that Man City left a clause in there that gives Everton a way to return him. So it’s a mess.”
When asked in September about his future as a Man City player, Grealish replied: “I don’t know, honestly. I’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
“I just want to be enjoying myself, and that’s the main thing at the moment.”
‘Grealish has got to try and help the young players at Everton’ – Parlour
Former Arsenal star Ray Parlour insists that David Moyes won’t stand for any indiscipline with Grealish needing to step up and help the younger members of the Everton squad.
Parlour said on talkSPORT: “I think he’s old school, David. There’s rules that you set. Sir Alex Ferguson and George Graham back in the day, they would stand for certain things.
“David is very similar.
“There’s a lot of young players at Everton and they’ll be looking at the senior pros and Jack is a player they will be looking at. Jack’s got to try and help the young players.”
In a less pressing issue for Grealish, Parlour reckons the Everton loanee could struggle to get back into the England squad before the end of his career.
The former Arsenal midfielder added: “I think his age is against him now and I think there’s too many players in front of him.
“All Jack has got to worry about is playing well for his club.
“If there’s a really bad list of injuries or something happens (who knows?), but I think his time has probably gone now.”
