Man Utd: Next signing after Sesko revealed amid ‘£60m cash boost’ with ‘three deals to complete’

A new report has revealed Manchester United’s next signing after Benjamin Sesko as they have ‘three deals to complete’ in the coming weeks.
So far this summer, Man Utd have only made three summer signings as they have landed Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon.
It has been a frustrating period for the Red Devils, though they have remained patient in pursuit of their top targets and are closing in on Sesko as their fourth summer signing.
It emerged on Wednesday morning that United have beaten Newcastle United in the race to land Sesko, with Fabrizio Romano confirming that a ‘full agreement’ has been reached.
Romano tweeted: ‘Benjamin Šeško has reached total agreement with Manchester United on personal terms. Contract until June 2030.
‘Šeško wants to join United, clear feeling revealed yesterday here. Never gave similar indication to other clubs. Club to club talks with RB Leipzig continue.’

The imminent arrival of Sesko is a huge boost as he is an upgrade on Man Utd’s current striker options, while the same can be said with Mbeumo and Cunha for the No.10 department.
Still, Man Utd still have a lot of work to do in the final weeks of this summer’s window and a report from Manchester Evening News has revealed ‘three deals to complete’ once their move for Sesko is finalised.
It is claimed that their ‘attention will likely turn to sales’ after Sesko is through the door, with Rasmus Hojlund’s future in doubt.
Hojlund has attracted interest from several Serie A clubs after suffering a dire decline in form in 2024/25, with the report claiming ‘that United want £30m for him’, while they ‘are conscious that no interested club would meet that valuation and are ready to accept a lower fee to try and sell him’.

It is suggested that Alejandro Garnacho could be the next player out the door as he has been informed that he ‘can leave’ this summer.
Napoli and Chelsea are said to have ‘shown the most interest as he continues to train away from the senior squad, though ‘neither club has made a move so far’.
Should these exits be completed, it is also claimed that this potential ‘£60m cash boost’ would increase their hopes of landing their next priority signing.
The report claims:
‘If United can sell both players, then the Reds could receive a much-needed £60m cash boost after potentially spending over £70m on Sesko.
‘Signing a new midfielder should then be where United turn to although time is running out before the summer window closes on September 1.’
