When Postecoglou could be sacked by Nottm Forest as player ‘mood’, Marinakis desire revealed

Reports have revealed when Ange Postecoglou could be sacked by Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis, who’s considering Sean Dyche as his potential successor at the City Ground.
Postecoglou has overseen five defeats and two draws in seven games a Forest boss after Nuno EspÃrito Santo was shown the door last month.
The Forest fans jeered the Australian from the pitch after their 3-1 defeat to FC Midtjylland in the Europa League, stranding him with chants of “you’re getting sacked in the morning”.
He wasn’t, and has survived the international break, when may thought Marinakis may have sent him packing on the back of another defeat, to Newcastle in the Premier League.

There’s no let-up for Postecoglou and Forest, who host Chelsea on Saturday before welcoming Porto to the City Ground on Thursday, though he may not make it past the weekend, according to BBC Sport.
‘Sources close to the squad feel Postecoglou could get Chelsea and Thursday’s Europa League visit of Porto but only if the result against the Blues on Saturday is positive and the fans do not turn,’ the report states.
The Athletic confirm that the lunchtime kick-off on Saturday could be key as Marinakis has been ‘gauging the mood’ at Forest with regard to Postecoglou and his future at the club.
The report states:
‘The feeling is that this game — or the outcome of it — could have a decisive influence on Postecoglou’s future. But, ultimately, it will be down to the mood of Marinakis.
‘The Forest owner has been pondering his options That is not unusual — the Greek shipping magnate always likes to have a plan B in place. Historically, he normally knows who he wants to appoint — or even has a replacement in place — before deciding to make a change.
‘Having options does not always mean Marinakis will utilise them, but he has been seeking the counsel of those close to him to gauge the mood of supporters and of the dressing room.
‘If he does make a change, sources with an understanding of how Marinakis works, say he would favour appointing a manager with established Premier League experience, who could make an immediate impact.’

It’s further claimed by The Athletic that ‘there is a mood of uncertainty’ among the players over Postecoglou and his future.
The report adds:
‘The squad were close to previous manager Nuno Espirito Santo and have been coming to terms with his departure. But the sadness at seeing Nuno depart does not equate to an anti-Postecoglou sentiment.
‘The players, according to sources close to the squad, do not know what to expect with regards to Postecoglou’s future — there is a mood of uncertainty. But they are also focused on preparing for two big fixtures, with Porto in the Europa League on Thursday following the Chelsea game.’
